Hot Stone vs. Swedish: Which Massage Is Right for You?

Both are full-body, both are deeply relaxing — but they solve slightly different problems, and picking the right one makes a real difference.

Swedish Massage is built on long, flowing strokes at light-to-medium pressure. It's the better choice if you want general relaxation, better circulation, or you're newer to massage and unsure how your body will respond to deeper work.

Hot Stone Therapy layers heated basalt stones into the same kind of strokes. The heat softens muscle tissue first, so your therapist can work deeper with less discomfort — ideal if you're carrying real tension in the shoulders, neck or lower back.

A simple rule of thumb: if you want to unwind, start with Swedish. If you want to unwind *and* you know you're tight, go Hot Stone.

Not sure which fits? Mention it when you book — our front desk (and your therapist) are happy to help you choose.
